Risk Management in Development Projects
Project risk management seeks to preemptively manage positive and negative events that may affect a project to improve its chance of success. This Massive Online Open Course (MOOC) has been delivered in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, with more than 35k participants registered. It is self-paced, which means students can enroll at any time.
At the end of the course, you will be able to:
- Identify risks in scenarios of uncertainty.
- Recognize the process of identification of risks and documenting their characteristics to facilitate risk analysis and management.
- Recognize the main elements of the risk analysis process.
- Recognize risk management strategies for opportunities and threats that could impact the project’s objectives.
- Recognize the main elements of the risk monitoring process to improve efficiency when managing the project life cycle.
My Role:
Manage project and develop learning resources
I was responsible for creating learning resources alongside team leaders and stakeholders. In addition, I did the project management and implementation of the MOOC on the edX platform and the course delivery in Portuguese as instructional videos, scripts, reading material, questionnaires, and infographics.
