Project Management for Development
Project Management for Development introduces concepts and tools to strengthen students’ capacity to manage social projects. It is a self-paced Massive Open Online Course (MOOC), which means you can enroll at any time. It was developed in collaboration with the Project Management Institute Educational Foundation (PMI-EF), and it is offered in English, Spanish, French and Portuguese.
The main topics of the course are:
- Basic project management concepts and techniques within international standards.
- Widely tested tools and techniques that facilitate good communication within a project.
- How to identify success factors in government projects and social projects.
My Role:
Manage project and develop learning resources
I was the project coordinator and was responsible for implementing the Portuguese version of the course on the edX platform. In addition, I did the follow-up and the production of the learning resources with external vendors such as instructional videos, translators, learning activities, questionnaires, infographics, and interactive activities.
